Frequently Asked Questions

In Person Studio

  • Greenhouse Music provides high-quality, engaging music education for children through private lessons, group classes, online programs, and school partnerships. Our approach focuses on building confidence, musical literacy, and a lifelong love of music in a supportive, encouraging environment.

  • We serve children from preschool through elementary age, with select offerings available for older students depending on the program. Each class is designed to be developmentally appropriate and accessible for beginners.

  • No prior experience is required. Many students begin with no formal music background. Lessons and classes are designed to meet students where they are and grow from there.

  • We have in-person piano, voice, and general music classes. You can take a look at our complete list of services here.

Enrollment and Policies

  • Enrollment is completed online. Once registered, families receive onboarding information to help set students up for success.

  • Some programs include digital or physical materials. Any required materials will be clearly outlined before enrollment.

  • Policies vary by offering. Specific details are provided during registration so families can make informed decisions.

  • Greenhouse Music uses per-lesson billing, not monthly tuition. Families are charged only for the lessons scheduled within each billing period, allowing for flexibility while maintaining clear expectations.

  • Payments are processed monthly for the upcoming month’s scheduled lessons. This ensures transparency and allows families to plan ahead while keeping billing straightforward.

  • We prioritize a healthy studio environment. If your child is ill and you provide adequate notice before the lesson, you will not be charged for that lesson. We strongly encourage families to keep sick students home without hesitation.
If possible we do an online lesson in place, in which case the lesson will be billed the same.

  • Children learn best when they feel well, and a healthy studio protects all students and families. This policy removes pressure to attend while sick and supports a respectful, community-minded learning environment.

Online Programs

  • Greenhouse Music offers on-demand courses, interactive lessons, digital workbooks, and family-friendly music resources designed to be used at home. These programs are ideal for families who want flexibility or do not live near our physical studio.

  • Most online offerings are self-paced so families can move through the material on their own schedule. Some programs may include optional guided elements or companion resources.

  • Online programs work well for homeschooling families, busy schedules, remote learners, or families who want to supplement in-person lessons with structured music learning at home.
